From the stocks to a burial mound all in a days work for the history group. Many thanks to Laura and Andrew and their team at the nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust for a brillant afternoon making bird boxes and bird feeders at Skylarks nature reserve.
Bilsthorpe Heritage Mining Museum March 2016
A massive thank you to Eric and his team for such a warm welcome and informative visit we even got a lift to the Pitstop for lunch.
The museum is open to the public on Monday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday's, and boasts well stocked displays and memorabilia for visitors to see along with knowledgable staff (very often ex miners) on hand to guide you through the displays.
