What is Gettaway Club?

The Gettaway Club is a social activities centre for adults with learning difficulties.  Based atNottingham Mencap on the City Hospital premises, it provides an array of activities for all it's members.

From art classes to pool tournaments, Wii games and board games as well as the main activity team game based on popular TV shows such as "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire", "Family Fortunes"' "Blockbusters" as well as many, many more.  Every Gettaway Club evening ends with a members disco.

The club also arrange regular day trips to theme parks, shows and pantomines as well as regular evening such as Karaoke night and themed Discos and parties for annual events such as Christmas, Valentines, Halloween etc

Gettaway Club membership is open to adults (aged 18+) and is held on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 18.45pm at Harpenden House, Edwards Lane, Nottingham NG5 3JA Telephone number: (0115) 920 9524

Membership applications can be obtained from the club. 

Due to popularity, attendance is strictly membership only but we are currently accepting new membership applications.
