How your support helps

Nottingham Mencap’s Promise to You

We are a local charity first established in 1950.  Nottingham Mencap is a totally self-funded, Nottinghamshire charity affiliated to Royal Mencap with our own constitution, accounts and services.  We are proud of our role as the pioneering learning disabilities champion within Nottinghamshire, supporting a group of people that had previously been marginalised, maligned and ignored.

Nottingham Mencap relies on the generosity of people like you to transform the lives of people with a learning disability across Nottinghamshire.  Whether you are an individual, company, a group of friends, or a family there are many ways you can help Nottingham Mencap and we can provide support in whichever type of fundraising suits you best.

Whether you contribute to a specific project or make a general donation you can be sure the money you raise helps us enable people with learning disabilities and autism live the lives they chose.

You'll find more information about the ways you can support us in our fundraising pages.  Our fundraising team are here to help and would love to hear from you.
