Trustees

Our Trustees ensure that Nottingham Mencap stays true to its mission and purpose. The Chief Executive reports to the Trustees who are responsible for the governance of our charity and planning for our future.  We are a group of people from varying walks of life bringing a variety of skills, expertise and experience to the table.

Being a Trustee can be very rewarding with the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of people living with learning disabilities and autism across Nottinghamshire.

We currently have 11 Trustees who attend 5 Board meetings per year.

We have a strong Board of Trustees but are always looking for potential new recruits. If you only have a couple of hours a month or you wish to invest more you are equally welcome.

You may simply have the passion for making a difference or you may have specific skills, knowledge or experience that would help us run our charity – either way we’d love to hear from you. If you would like a chat about joining us please contact our CEO Mike Caston on 0115 9209524.
