Supported Living Coordinator

Location: Valley Road, Sherwood

Contract Type: 12 hours per week (based on 6 week rota)

Hours of work: Shift patterns 07:30:10:30 and 14:30-21:30 21:30-7:30 (wake night) plus other 1:1 time slots where needed.

Salary: £32,015.36 fte

Nottingham Mencap is looking for an enthusiastic, organised and compassionate Supported Living Coordinator to lead our Supported Living service.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting people with learning disabilities to live independently, have choice and control over their lives, and be active members of their local community.

Our Supported Living service currently supports three residents. We provide a combination of daytime support and wake night shifts, helping residents develop their independent living skills, maintain relationships and access their local community.

As Coordinator, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring it is safely and effectively staffed, well organised and provides high-quality, person-centred support. You will lead a team of Support Workers and work closely with colleagues, families, social workers, commissioners and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for the people we support.

Our support is 24/7. The working pattern is on a rolling rota and includes a variety of shifts – early, lates, waking nights, weekends, bank holidays and flexible shift patterns.
