Hi, my name's Simon and I've been with Nottingham mencap since 2013. I work in the community supporting young people and adults as well as running a general maintenance group on Thursday and the out and about group on Friday. I'm a level 3 qualified teaching assistant and a level 2 qualified youth worker. When I'm not at mencap I like music, playing the bass, looking after my cat and watching old films - I also support forest but I'd rather not talk about that right now.

Hi, I’m Danny. You’ll find me at Harpenden House Monday - Friday. I help others to make sure the organisation runs well and everyone learns, socialises and has fun!

Outside of work I like getting outside, being active and playing music. i play the piano and drums so I like making a noise!

I run a gym and swim group on a Wednesday, healthy lifestyles group on a Thursday and community fitness group on a Friday. I enjoy being active, outdoors and trying out new outdoor adventurous activities where possible. Outgoing, energetic and full of enthusiasm. Can often be found down the yard at the horses, in the gym, out running or making a splash in the pool.

Hi, I am Sophie I am the Finance Officer at Nottingham Mencap. My job is to make sure all financial aspects are up to date and running smoothly. In my spare time I like to spend time with my family and friends. My hobbies include crafting, reading and running and getting out of cooking when I can! I also enjoy taking my cheeky cockapoo dog for walks.

You can find me at Nottingham Mencap at the beginning of the week and when I’m not here, I enjoy running and cross stitch.

Hi I’m Jayne and I work in the admin team, helping to keep things running as smoothly as possible. When I’m not working I love spending time with my Grandaughter and family. Apparently, I’ve got a reputation for liking cake and not sharing, can’t imagine why and I never ever refuse chocolate!!
