Hours of work: 9.30am – 6.30pm (Sunday), 9.00am – 4pm (Monday, negotiable), 2 hours admin (Thursday, negotiable)

Salary: £17.64 p/h

Nottingham Mencap is recruiting for a Group Activities Coordinator to lead our Sunday youth groups, creating fun, inclusive and confidence building sessions for children and young people.

This is a unique opportunity, ideally suited to someone with the enthusiasm and creativity to create and lead engaging activities combined with an eye for detail and organization to ensure the sessions are run safely. This includes ensuring care and support plans are regularly updated, carrying out risk assessments and ensuring attendance records are up to date. In addition to working with children and young people, you will be leading a team of approximately 20 staff, carrying out recruitment, supervisions and organizing training and development opportunities. This is a 17-hour per week role. We are also recruiting for a Service Coordinator for our day services, and applicants are welcome to apply for both positions if they are looking for additional hours. This could be a great opportunity to combine the two roles and build a varied and rewarding role within Nottingham Mencap.
